  6. I  have  chosen  to  write  about  this
  7. subject,  because  there  are  so  many
  8. opinions  about  mags on the scene, and
  9. here is mine!  I don't think that there
  10. can  be  too many mags.  Well, of cause
  11. there  can,  but i don't think that all
  12. the  mags  we have at the moment should
  13. "die"  because  some  other people came
  14. before  them  with their mags!  I think
  15. that  ²all¹  the  mags on the scene are
  16. making  a  pressure  to  the others and
  17. that way you will get a higher standard
  18. of  quality.  It's the same thing about
  19. demos, and have you ever heard somebody
  20. complains about too many demos is being
  21. released  ???   When  I  get a cool mag
  22. (Raw,  McDisk, Top Secret, Magbox etc.)
  23. I'm  looking  forward  to  read all the
  24. quality  and  intresting  articles, but
  25. when  i  get  a lame mag (Suicid etc.)I
  26. really have to puke(ehh,almost) because
  27. I  think  that  the mags today even are
  28. really cool and nice to read or exactly
  29. the opposite thing and that is a shame,
  30. I  think.   Also  a  important thing to
  31. make  a  good  mag  is the layout (just
  32. like  the  demos).   If  you have a bad
  33. layout,  people might not be intressted
  34. to  read it, if it already looks boring
  35. when  booted.   One of the things about
  36. the  "magscene"  that  I  don't like is
  37. that   when   the   Eurochart   started
  38. again(Hi  Estrup)  there was suddenly a
  39. lot of chart-things comming up, some of
  40. it  was(is)  in  my  opinion  real  bad
  41. immitations.   At  the moment are there
  42. (again  in  my  opinion)  only 2 charts
  43. worth  reading  and  counting  on;  The
  44. Eurochart   by  Static  Bytes  and  The
  45. European   Top   20   by   Equinox  (Hi
  46. Simpson).   My conclusion of this thing
  47. is  that  even though people get famous
  48. on  charts  and  mags,  and many people
  49. read and like the mags, please consider
  50. it  twice before you will start to make
  51. a  mag,  because it will be a pity if a
  52. good  demo  crew  destroyed  their good
  53. name by making a bad chart or mag!  But
  54. to  the guys who can their stuff and so
  55. on:   Keep up the nice work on the good
  56. mags.
